Few cars are as synonymous with rally racing as Subaru's WRX, and for good reason. Subaru's rally team won nearly 50 events during its 15-year tenure on the World Rally Circuit and brought home three world championships — all on an Impreza platform. The GD, or second-generation WRX, was introduced in the United States in 2001 as a 2002 model. The turbocharged 2.0-liter 227-horsepower engine, all-wheel-drive and suspension geometry make this WRX a perfect option for tackling the rough stuff, particularly the "bug-eye" models.
